Texas means “friend” in the language of the Caddo Indians and a new friend is what you will find the second largest state in the country. Texas often evokes visions of ganandero alone, armed cowboys and crude oil workers but there is much more variety of people and places in this great state.
Located in the middle of the southern United States and the Gulf coast of Mexico, the Lone Star State is actually composed of six regions. Going from one region to another, we find that the landscape changes from dense forests with a dark pine green hills and finally the beautiful desert. Each area has its own trade, especially agricultural and climate, but the whole place is just in its originality, beauty and history.
